Rana Gujral

About Rana

Rana Gujral builds at the frontier of Artificial Intelligence, Cognitive AI, and the long-horizon path toward Artificial General Intelligence (AGI). As CEO of Behavioral Signals, he turns advances in speech-signal processing and representation learning into production systems that infer intent, emotion, and risk from voice.

His work sits at the intersection of voice intelligence and high-trust decisioning, powering real-time interaction intelligence, trust and safety, and deepfake detection for enterprises operating in high-stakes environments.

The Builder's Path

Rana founded TiZE, which was acquired by Alchemy. He then led Smart Home at Logitech and drove an innovation-led platform rebuild in consumer technology that helped return a business from near-bankruptcy to profitable growth, setting the path to its later $4.4B IPO.

His technical interests span paralinguistics, self-supervised speech embeddings, transformer-based modeling, Artificial General Experience (AGE), robotics, and cybersecurity, with a consistent focus on moving ideas from research into systems that ship.

On the Global Stage

Rana speaks at global forums including the World Government Summit, World AI Cannes Festival, The Next Web, LEAP, and TEDx, and has written for TechCrunch and Forbes on applied AI, voice intelligence, leadership, and responsible deployment.

His first book, The AI Instinct (Wiley, August 2026), explores the future of AI and human decision-making, with a foreword by Kai-Fu Lee and external review by Joscha Bach.
